Agathi Beach
Fine golden sand, shallow water, and a chapel in the rock.
Agathi is a sheltered bay of fine golden sand just north of Haraki, reached by a short track past Feraklos castle. The water stays shallow and calm, which makes it one of the best beaches on the coast for small children.
Look out for
- The small cave chapel at the end of the beach, its front painted white
- Rocks under the water on the right-hand side, good for snorkelling
- Feraklos castle on the hill above
Good to know
Facilities are simple: a couple of canteens, sunbeds, umbrellas and showers. Bring lunch, or eat in Haraki afterwards.
