Siana
Thyme honey, souma and a twin-towered church on the mountainside.
Siana sits high on the slopes of Mount Akramitis, on the road between Embonas and Monolithos. It's known across the island for two things: thick thyme honey and souma, the local grape spirit.
What to do
- Taste honey and souma in the shops along the main road
- Look into the church of Agios Panteleimon, with its two bell towers
- Stop at a viewpoint above the village for the coast and Monolithos below
Good to know
Siana makes an easy stop between a wine tasting in Embonas and sunset at Monolithos.
