Why Kolympia
Halfway down the east coast, where the island's long beaches begin.
Kolympia sits between Rhodes Town and Lindos, about 25 minutes from each. Close enough for dinner in the Old Town, far enough to wake up to quiet.
The villas stand 200 metres from the beach. Tavernas, shops and beach bars are close by, and Faliraki's nightlife is 15 minutes north.
Within fifteen minutes
- Tsambika's golden sand, with a monastery on the peak above it
- Seven Springs, where you wade through a tunnel of spring water
- Afandou's 4 km shore and the island's only golf course
- Anthony Quinn Bay, for the clearest water on this coast

Further afield
Lindos and Rhodes Old Town are 25 minutes away. The wine village of Embonas takes about 35, and Prasonisi, at the island's southern tip, a little over an hour.
